ERC-827
ERC-827 is a proposed token standard for the Ethereum network that expands on the functionality of ERC-20 tokens. With the addition of the capability to transfer tokens together with associated data, ERC-827 is intended to facilitate more intricate financial transactions than ERC-20.
The main difference between ERC-827 and ERC-20 is that ERC-827 adds a new function named “transferAndCall”. A token holder can use this function to transfer tokens, unrestricted data, and a smart contract invocation to a recipient address.
