Hardware Wallet

A hardware wallet is a type of cryptocurrency wallet that stores the private keys for your digital assets in a secure physical device. Unlike software wallets, which store private keys on a computer or mobile device, hardware wallets keep your keys offline, making them less vulnerable to hacking attempts and other security threats.

  • Hardware wallets that are USB-based. They can be plugged into a computer or mobile device’s USB port and resemble USB flash drives.
  • Hardware wallets with Bluetooth capabilities. They can connect to devices through Bluetooth and work with computers and mobile devices alike.
  • Smartcard-based Hardware wallets. They require a smartcard and a PIN. They often cost more than other kinds of hardware wallets, but they provide higher security.
  • Hardware wallets based on QR Codes . They are often made for mobile devices and employ QR codes to authorize transactions.
